VALDOVAI
Case Study:
VALDOVAI – Luxury apartments in the historic place
Project Overview
VALDOVAI is a luxury apartments set within historic Old Town in Vilnius. The Real estate developer came to us with a rare property and a clear ambition: a residence that honours the history of the place while offering the comfort of contemporary living. The task was to build a brand that could hold both, heritage and modern luxury, without one overshadowing the other. The name itself, Valdovai (Lithuanian for "rulers"), set the tone we had to earn: stature, permanence, and a sense of address people are proud to give.
Solution: Typographic, Logo & visual identity
We built the identity around a refined typographic wordmark. It’s hand drawn with details from Cleasic serifs. It's restrained on purpose, so it works everywhere the brand lives, from a brass plaque at the entrance to a printed sales brochure. The mark carries the weight of the name without overstating it.
Visual Identity & Art Direction
For the art direction, we took our cues from the historic place itself. We looked at ancient typography, symbols, and the heraldry and flags used in the communication of the Lithuanian dukes, then synthesised those references with a contemporary luxury aesthetic. The result carries the weight of the history without feeling like a museum piece.
Impact
The identity we created for VALDOVAI became a visual north star for its advertising, communication, and the sense of place itself. Brand work is hard to measure directly, but we're proud of the visual signals we set for this property, and of how consistently they've carried across every touchpoint.
